What is
GEAR?
GEAR Zine: Keeping musicians close, and communities closer.
GEAR was launched in 2023 as a platform for emerging artists.
Created by music students, the founders set out to provide an accessible and inclusive space for local talent. The platform has since grown to accommodate all grassroots art, not just that of students.
Since its inception, GEAR Zine has published 9 editions, held 3 launch events and helped over 80 grassroots artists find a voice.
We look to celebrate art in all its formats.

Who is
GEAR?
Each member of GEAR is pivotal to what GEAR has become. Our six dedicated volunteers share the ethos of creating a community focused music publication. From pieces to graphics, each member of the team works together to craft GEAR Zine.
