The GEAR 7 Launch Party

Updated: Feb 27

Gear 7’s launch party can only be described as a hit! As lights came up and crowds started filling Burdall’s Yard, the anticipation for our first artist Sober Sundays, started to bubble up.

The dimly lit tunnels, filled with blue lights, immersed the audience in their very own aquarium experience. As the drum machine began, it was apparent that this was a one-of-a-kind acoustic set from Sober Sundays.

Dressed like a garden party, with themes of springtime, Bran’s band took the main stage. ‘Mildred’s Suitcase’ was, and will always be, a highlight in a Branwen Jones set. With haunting vocals and a sense of longing, it is a staple track that is soon to be released.

Our featured artist, Girlhood, visually struck the crowd. Bathed in florals reminiscent of their GEAR shoot, this became representative of their rebirth as a band. Their blissful harmonies echoed through the room, and with that, Girlhood showed the stage what they’re really about!

With a party-hard attitude, Auxterror’s DJ set ended the night on a high. From dance circles to head bangs this was certainly a night to remember. A big thank you to everyone who was involved /attended GEAR 7’s launch party - We, quite literally, couldn't have done it without you.
